Our Cat, Loki is Missing
This is my families cat Loki, on July 16th 2024 around 7am, he escaped from our home and has not been seen since. He is a 5 year old black and white “tuxedo” cat, he is neutered, up to date on all of his shots, is microchipped, has his claws, and weighs about 14lbs.
He is an indoor baby, and is not used to being outdoors, he is easily spooked, and when outside he gets very frightened and aggressive. He is very food motivated, and loves chicken and treats, though he does require daily medicated food. My family, his brother Comet (they are littermates and have always been together), and I are extremely worried about him.
We have put up missing signs, put flyers in all our neighbors mailboxes, posted on FB/IG (link to IG post) and the neighborhood app, and keep calling around. We also have put out clothing that smells like us, his favorite toys, food and water in several locations including inside a humane catch and relief trap with a security camera watching it. We have yet to see any sign of him or heard any news from neighbors, vets or animal control about Loki. He escaped near Elkwood Section Rd and Scott Rd in Hazel Green AL.
Please help us find him and bring him home safely. He is loved and extremely missed.
I will put any updates in this section and also on Instagram.
Update 7/29/24: Possible sighting of Loki near Murphy Hill Rd & Banyon on 7/26 around 3pm.
